The Company has experience, and is able to carry out work, in the following areas:

Some of the company projects result in publications. Among other work, IAL has produced four volumes of detailed CD-ROM reviews; the Manual of Online Search Strategies (3rd edition); a series of directories on sandwich courses and information studies courses; a major series of directories covering worldwide database access; a keyguide to online and CD-ROM database searching; and many reports including some on the characteristics of electronic abstracts, the publishing of electronic scholarly monographs, and the quality of databases in general use in the UK. The second edition of a handbook on legal issues and practice for users and publishers of electronic resources was published in 2004 (publishers: Facet Publishing).
